
Liu Junfeng, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, led a working group to visit Bangladesh from Sept 12 to 14.
During the visit, Liu and Shahriar Kader Siddiky, secretary of the Economic Relations Division of Bangladesh's Ministry of Finance, co-chaired the first meeting of the China-Bangladesh development cooperation mechanism.
They held in-depth exchanges of views on implementing the important consensus reached by leaders of the two countries, advancing Belt and Road cooperation, delivering on the four global initiatives and deepening bilateral development cooperation.
Liu and the working group also conducted field surveys on several China-aided projects in the country.
