CIDCA vice-chairman meets WMO assistant secretary-general

On Sept 16, Zhao Fengtao, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Thomas Asare, assistant secretary-general of the World Meteorological Organization, in Beijing.

They exchanged ideas on deepening cooperation under the Global Development Initiative framework, improving the international climate governance system and promoting the application of "Mazu", China's intelligent meteorological early warning system, across the world.

Officials from the relevant departments and bureaus of the CIDCA and the China Meteorological Administration participated in the meeting.
