Relief supplies, aboard Chinese Airforce's transport aircraft, arrived in Tonga's capital of Nuku'alofa on Jan 28. This is the first shipment of relief supplies sent to Tonga from China.
The aircraft departed from the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in Guangzhou, Guangdong province on Jan 27, carrying emergency and post-disaster reconstruction supplies totaling about 33 tons, including food, drinking water, water purifiers, tents, folding beds, personal protective equipment and radio communication equipment.
