China-aided food supplies to Gaza Strip arrive in Egypt

Part of the food supplies from the Chinese government to the Gaza Strip arrived on March 28 in Port Said, Egypt, according to the Chinese Embassy in Egypt.

This shipment of 450 tons of rice sent from the Port of Shanghai arrived in Port Said by cargo ship on March 27 and is to be transferred to Palestinian authorities as soon as possible through the Egyptian Red Crescent Society. An additional 450 tons of flour will arrive in Port Said in mid-April.

The China-aided humanitarian supplies in the early days have been transported into Gaza, the embassy added.
