China’s food aid delivered to Burkina Faso

On April 10, Chinese Ambassador to Burkina Faso Zhao Deyong and Burkinabe Minister of Family and Solidarity Pelagie Kabre attended the handover ceremony for China's emergency food aid to Burkina Faso and signed the handover certificate.

Kabre expressed gratitude for China's selfless assistance. She stated that the aid will effectively alleviate Burkina Faso's food crisis.

Kabre said that Burkina Faso is willing to deepen cooperation in humanitarian aid and agriculture with China, in order to build a good example of South-South cooperation.

Zhao noted that China's food aid to Burkina Faso fully demonstrates the deep friendship between the two countries, which emphasizes mutual support and the spirit of solidarity.

Zhao stressed that China will continue to uphold the principle of sincerity, real results, amity and good faith for China's Africa policy and deepen practical cooperation between China and Burkina Faso in various fields, so as to benefit the peoples of both countries.
