On the remarkable journey of East Asian cooperation, the city of Phnom Penh has left its own deep mark. Ten years ago, the ASEAN Summit adopted the Phnom Penh Declaration, taking ASEAN Community building onto a fast track.
Since President Xi Jinping proposed the GDI, China has worked actively to bring together the international community, and has taken concrete actions to deliver on the 32 major follow-ups. Important early harvests have been achieved.
