China provides aid to flood victims in Somalia

The heavy rains that began last month have caused widespread flooding and damage in Somalia. They displaced about 400,000 households and caused material damage to land, markets and food stores.

The China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) said Monday that the Chinese government has provided emergency humanitarian aid to Somalia to help provide relief to families affected by floods.
