China provides aid to flood-hit Sri Lanka

The Chinese government has provided emergency humanitarian aid to Sri Lanka in response to the recent floods, the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) said Friday.

To date, 170,000 people have been affected after severe rains from May 26 caused floods and landslides in many districts.
