Zhou Liujun said that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors linked by mountains and rivers, with a steadily deepening comprehensive strategic partnership and pragmatic cooperation in various fields. The agency will work with the ministry of finance of Mongolia to promote bilateral cooperation for more positive results in development.
Khurelbaatar congratulated Zhou on the establishment of the agency, saying that China, as the second largest economy in the world, has an ever-increasing influence on the international community, and that the establishment is of great significance to international cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative. In recent years, China has given Mongolia a great deal of economic and technological support, which has promoted its economic and social development. Mongolia is deeply grateful.
The two sides fully exchanged views on the further implementation of the consensus reached by leaders of the two countries, the earliest possible effectiveness of relevant cooperation, and the planning of future development cooperation.
