ISSCAD's new semester starts

The opening ceremony of the new semester of the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development (ISSCAD) was held on Sept 21 at Peking University.

Wang Xiaotao, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, attended the ceremony and made a speech. 

He noted that the ISSCAD needs to take responsibility for boosting the region’s collaboration and for building the world’s common development. 

Wang also encouraged ISSCAD students to cherish their college years and friendships.

Other attendees included Lin Jianhua, president of Peking University, and Lin Yifu, dean of ISSCAD.
