Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Usama Faisal, state minister for foreign affairs of Sudan, on Nov 23. They exchanged views on development cooperation between China and Sudan.
Deng welcomed Usama Faisal to the CIDCA, and introduced its general information and responsibilities. Deng expressed his willingness to take the opportunity of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sudan next year to jointly promote the implementation of the important consensus of the heads of the two countries, and continue to enrich the connotation of their strategic partnership.
Usama introduced the latest reforms of the Sudanese government. He spoke highly of the fruitful cooperation between the two countries in the field of development cooperation, and expressed Sudan’s hopes of strengthening communication with the CIDCA to promote cooperation between China and Sudan and write a new chapter in the Sino-Sudanese strategic partnership.
