CIDCA chairman visits Panama

President Xi Jinping held talks with Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela in Panama City on Dec 3.

Witnessed by President Xi and his Panamanian counterpart, Wang Xiaotao, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), and Panamanian Deputy Foreign Minister signed agreements on bilateral cooperation. 

During his visit to Panama, Wang also made field trips to the Cologne Safe City Project and the City of Hope Comprehensive Education Center Project, both built with aid from the Chinese government. He listened to reports on work of the enterprises in charge of the projects, and held discussions with some Chinese-funded companies.
