CIDCA chairman visits Algeria

Wang Xiaotao, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), visited Algeria from Jan 9 to 10.

Wang held a working meeting with the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Algeria and delegates from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Culture.

The two sides spoke highly of the fruitful cooperation between the two countries in the field of development cooperation, and exchanged views on promoting future work.

Wang also visited the Algerian Opera House and other projects being aided by China, and held talks with the representatives of Chinese embassy in Algeria, the Agency for International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce and some Chinese-funded enterprises, focusing on strengthening the supervision and evaluation of foreign aid projects.
