CIDCA chairman visits Switzerland, intl organizations in Geneva

Wang Xiaotao, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), visited Switzerland and international organizations in Geneva from Jan 13 to 16.

Wang met with Manuel Sager, director general of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). Both sides expressed their willingness to further strengthen communication, learn from each other's experiences in the field of international development cooperation, and signed a memorandum of understanding.

Wang had a meeting with Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and acting President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Gilles Carbonnier.

Wang spoke highly of the fruitful cooperation between China and the World Health Organization and the International Committee of the Red Cross. China is willing to further strengthen exchanges of personnel and experience, exchange views on strengthening cooperation between China and international organizations, and cooperate further in the field of foreign aid supervision and evaluation.
