[Note] In 2017, the Chinese government and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) signed an agreement on strengthening post-disaster reconstruction assistance cooperation to help the UNDP implement post-disaster relief projects in Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan through the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund.

The projects include: repair of roofs of key buildings affected by Hurricane Maria in Dominica and Hurricane Emma in Antigua and Barbuda; provision of health packages for women and emergency shelters to Bengledesh, and provision of medical assistance to the country's Rohingya refugees; provision of non-food supplies and clean stoves to Nepal; and provision of food, living materials and school furniture to Pakistan.

By the end of June 2018, the above-mentioned assistance projects had been implemented and benefited 360,000 people. The projects have achieved good results and have been highly praised by recipient countries, international organizations and the public. The Dominican Prime Minister sent a letter of thanks to the Chinese Embassy in Dominica.
