Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), visited Nepal from Mar 19 to 21.
Deng held a working meeting with a Nepalese government delegation headed by Nepalese Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada. They exchanged views on implementing the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and strengthening bilateral development cooperation. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi attended the meeting.
Deng described China's assistance to Nepal, saying that China will continue to implement its commitment to post-disaster reconstruction assistance to Nepal, increase aid to Nepalese people's livelihoods, help Nepal's economic and social development, and enable more and more Chinese and Nepalese people to benefit from bilateral cooperation.
Khatiwada thanked China for its long-term selfless help, and expressed a willingness to work with China to plan development cooperation between the two countries, to support Nepal's social and economic development and Belt and Road construction, and deepen the traditional friendship between the two countries.
