Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Ridwan Djamaluddin, Indonesian deputy minister for coordinating maritime affairs, on Apr 11. They held talks on strengthening exchanges on development cooperation between the two countries.
Deng briefly reviewed the overall situation of China-Indonesia development cooperation and said that China is willing to strengthen development cooperation with Indonesia under the Belt and Road Initiative and the "global maritime nexus" strategic framework, and promote in-depth development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
Ridwan thanked China for its long-term support and assistance to Indonesia's economic and social development. Ridwan said that the hearts of the peoples of the two countries are connected. The Indonesian side is willing to learn from China's development experience, strengthen cooperation with China, and promote more positive results.
The two sides also exchanged views on issues such as project cooperation.
