Sri Lankan PM and speaker greet Chinese expert group

An expert group sent by China visited the site of Sri Lanka's project concerning people's livelihood assisted by China from Mar 19 to Apr 10.

The expert group was greeted by Sri Lanka's Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Speaker of the Parliament Karu Jayasuriya .

Wickremesinghe thanked China for its timely help to the people of Sri Lanka, and highly praised the efficient and pragmatic working style of the Chinese side and the expert group. He said that the Sri Lankan government will cooperate fully with the Chinese side.

Jayasuriya expressed his gratitude for the efforts made by the Chinese side and the expert group in promoting the project, and said that the Chinese assistance will promote mutual communication and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
