Zhang Maoyu, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), and Liu Fang, secretary-general of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), signed an agreement on June 11 to help developing countries comprehensively strengthen civil aviation safety systems.
This is a cooperation project between the two sides under the framework of the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund. It aims to help the Republic of Congo and the United Republic of Tanzania improve the level of civil aviation safety, promote the development of aviation transportation industry, and inspire the potential of aviation transportation.
