Wang Shiting, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, said in a speech that the training course is part of China's efforts to help African countries expand their air transport market. In the past five years, China has actively supported the construction of transnational and regional aviation networks among African countries, and strengthened cooperation in aviation sector planning, professional training, infrastructure construction, and joint operation of airlines, with fruitful results.

Wang introduced successful cases of China-Africa cooperation in the aviation field in Ghana. He pointed out that regional aviation cooperation is an important area for China-Africa cooperation. The two sides are highly complementary and have great potential in working together. China is willing to work with African countries to strengthen strategic cooperation, further implement the China-Africa Regional Aviation Cooperation Plan, help Africa develop local airlines, train local aviation talents, upgrade facilities, and build the China-Africa Aviation Silk Road for the benefit of African people.
