Wang said that developing agriculture, promoting poverty reduction and achieving "zero hunger" are important goals of the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The UN Food and Agriculture Organization has made active efforts to this end over the years. Agricultural assistance is an important part of China's foreign aid. China is willing to strengthen communication and exchanges with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, give full play to their respective advantages, deepen cooperation, help developing countries to achieve agricultural growth, tackle food crises, and share China's experience in agricultural development and poverty alleviation.
