China signs agreement with WPF to provide emergency food aid to Zimbabwe, Mozambique

Zhang Maoyu, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), signed two agreements with Manoj Juneja, assistant executive director of the UN World Food Program (WFP), to provide emergency food aid to Zimbabwe and Mozambique in August 2019.

The assistance arises from a cooperation project under the framework of the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund to help the two countries alleviate food shortages.
