China, UNDP sign cooperation agreement under South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund

Zhang Maoyu, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), signed an agreement with Devanand Ramiah, the UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in China, to provide reconstruction assistance to Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique after the tropical cyclone disaster. 

As a cooperation project under the framework of the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund, it aims to help the countries affected by the strong tropical cyclone by repairing damaged houses and schools and helping local residents to return to their normal ways of living.
