China signs an agreement with WPF to provide emergency food aid to Namibia

Wang Xiaotao, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), signed an agreement with David Beasley, executive director of the UN World Food Program (WFP), to provide emergency food assistance to Namibia, during a delegation visit to the WFP in Rome on Sept 5, 2019.

It is a cooperation project under the framework of the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund to help Namibia cope with the food security crisis caused by continued drought.
