Hand in hand towards the dream land

At the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo in Changsha this June, the Secretary-General of the National Institute of Technology and Development of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire has prepared a long list of investment projects, hoping Chinese investors will expand investments in Côte d'Ivoire to help local people prosper.

Against the increasing protectionism and unilateralism in the world, China-Africa cooperation has become a bright spot in the global economy. Having experienced similar suffering in their histories, China and Africa embrace the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership in the new era, working together to build a more inclusive and fair international order.

A good example of win-win cooperation

China has been Africa's largest trading partner for 10 consecutive years, and placed over $110 billion cumulative investment there. China-Africa economic and trade cooperation has shown a strong momentum of development in an all-dimensional, wide-ranging and multi-layered pattern. In 2018, China-Africa trade volume reached $204.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20 percent.

China and Africa will inject positive energy into the international order as defenders of multilateralism.

China and Africa join hands in defending multilateralism and the free trade system and promoting a fair and rational international order, supporting the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals 2030, and safeguarding the legitimate rights of developing countries on the international stage.
