China to provide emergency humanitarian aid to the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian

On Sept 20, Tian Lin, spokesperson for the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), said that the Chinese government offers deep sympathy and condolences to Bahamians who suffered the effects of the Hurricane Dorian, a Category 5 storm, swept across the northern Bahamas, causing heavy casualties and huge property losses.

China decided to provide emergency humanitarian assistance to the Bahamian government, and is willing to provide assistance within its capacity to help the Bahamas’ post-disaster reconstruction work according to need.
