Improving foreign aid work in the new era needs the understanding and support of all sectors of society, including experts and scholars, said Zhang, who added that he is looking forward to their continued support for China's foreign aid cause, their joint service in the major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics and the Belt and Road Initiative, and their contributions to building a community of shared future for mankind.
More than 10 experts and scholars from research institutes, universities and relevant financial institutions attended the conference. They combined their various research perspectives and made suggestions on how to improve the work of foreign aid in the new era, advancing the comprehensive effects of foreign aid, lifting the level of international development cooperation, and promoting global sustainable development.
