China, EU hold director-general level consultation on international development cooperation

Tian Lin, director-general of the Department of International Cooperation of China International Development Cooperation Agency, and Pierre Amilhat, director for Asia, Central Asia, Middle East/Gulf and the Pacific at the European Commission's Department for International Cooperation and Development (DEVCO), co-hosted the meeting.

The two sides exchanged views on China and European foreign aid, including overall situation, institutional mechanisms, supervision and evaluation, assistance to relevant regions as well as international cooperation, and discussed the future direction of cooperation.
