Zhou Liujun, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Jules Doret Ndongo, Cameroon's minister of forestry and wildlife on Nov 28, 2019. They exchanged views on development cooperation in the fields of bamboo, rattan and wild animal protection.

Zhou stressed that China is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation with Cameroon in those fields and to promote the implementation of the eight major initiatives of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in Cameroon, and continue to deepen China-Cameroon friendship.
For his part, Ndongo thanked China for its assistance and support of Cameroon, and said that Cameroon hopes to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China, learn from China's successful experience and enhance its capacity for sustainable development.
