A delegation led by Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), visited the Republic of Armenia from Nov 30 to Dec 2 where he met with Avet Adonts, the country's deputy minister of foreign affairs.

Deng said that Armenia is a key nation among the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. China is willing to cooperate with Armenia to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and enhance cooperation in livelihood improvement and human resources development, further deepening friendly and cooperative relations between the two sides.
Avet expressed gratitude for China's support of Armenia in such fields as education and transportation. He said that Armenia is willing to further cooperate with China to implement relevant capital placements and projects and to deepen cooperation.

During the visit, Deng also met the First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Hrachya Sargsyan, and inspected a Chinese school and bus projects.
Tian Erlong, Chinese Ambassador to Armenia, took part in these activities.
