A delegation led by Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), visited Tajikistan from Dec 2 to 5, 2019 and held talks with Nematullo Hikmatullozoda and Tojiddin Jurazoda, minister and deputy minister of economic development and trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Deng said at the meeting that China and Tajikistan are good neighbors, friends, partners, and brothers. China is willing to work with Tajikistan to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, strengthen facilities connectivity in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, promote social, economic and people's livelihood cooperation, deepen security law enforcement cooperation, and increase experience exchanges and talents training to add new connotation to the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
Under the leadership of the two heads of state, China and Tajikistan maintain good relations. Tajikistan is willing to further communicate and cooperate with China to jointly advance the in-depth bilateral cooperation. according to the Tajikistan side.

During the visit, Deng also met with Tajikistan's Minister of Internal Affairs Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro and Deputy Minister Saidzoda Makhmasaid Boron, visited the project sites of the parliament building and government office building, and held talks with representative of Chinese enterprises in Tajikistan.
Liu Bin, Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan, attended the meeting.
