Hailemariam introduced the mission and operation of the AGRA, and expressed his hope to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CIDCA. He hopes both sides will work to disseminate China's successful agricultural policies, experience, products and technologies in Africa, help African small farmers increase income, improve food security and nutritional status, and promote agricultural transformation to achieve sustainable development, Hailemariam said.
Zhang introduced the functions of the CIDCA and China's agricultural assistance to Africa. He said the CIDCA attaches great importance to strengthening communication with the AGRA in the agricultural field, and is willing to cooperate to promote the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and make new contributions to building a community of a shared future for humanity.
