China signs South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund projects with FAO

Zhang Maoyu, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), signed two agreements on the implementation of projects to enhance sustainable soil management capacity with representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in January 2020.

The agreements arise from cooperation between the two sides under the framework of the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund and are aimed at improving the capacity of sustainable soil management in Rwanda and Uganda.
