‘GRAZIE CINA!' sounds in Rome

CIDCA| Updated: 2020-03-16

The Chinese national anthem was played in a neighborhood near the Line A subway station in Rome on March 14. The local residents said ‘GRAZIE CINA!' loudly with a continued ovation.

In order to tackle the COVID-19 epidemic, the Italian government implemented a lockdown on Mar 10 that requires the public to stay at home as much as possible.

Recently, Italian people have taken up various interactive activities, including an "18:00 balcony concert", to encourage and cheer each other on.
