A handover ceremony of China donated medical supplies was held in Ulan Bator, Mongolia, on March 28.
The supplied include 5,016 nucleic acid test kits, 5,000 N95 medical masks, 5,000 surgical masks and 1,000 disposable medical gowns.

Chai said that the COVID-19 pandemic has become a common challenge faced by the two countries. The virus respects no borders. The Chinese government and people will continue to stand and work with Mongolia in its fight against the disease, cooperate closely with international communities and contribute their strength at this critical time, said Chai.

Enkhtuvshin expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chinese government and people on behalf of the Mongolian government and people. He said that Mongolia and China are comprehensive strategic partners and neighbors connected by mountains and rivers.
The fight against the virus embodies the profound friendship between the two countries. The medical supplies provided by China together with close cooperation and mutual support between the two peoples enhance Mongolia’s confidence in overcoming the pandemic, said Enkhtuvshin.
