On March 28, China donated anti-pandemic supplies arrived in Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia. Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Bai Tian handed over the medical supplies, 100,000 nucleic acid reagents, 100,000 N95 medical masks, 500,000 medical surgical masks, 50,000 items of medical protective clothing and 200 portable ventilators, to Malaysia in a brief ceremony.
Bai said that according to incomplete statistics, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia and relevant Chinese organizations have donated more than one million masks and 5,500 test reagents, goggles, protective clothing and other medical supplies to the Malaysian people in the past week.
Experts from China and Malaysia have already exchanged experiences on pandemic prevention and control and patient treatment via videoconference. As long as Malaysia is in need, China is willing to provide all possible technical and material support within its ability.

Seri Hishammuddin, minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, received the medical supplies on behalf of the country. He said that the supplies will be immediately transferred to the Malaysian National Disaster Management Agency and shipped to the front line as soon as possible. He expressed gratitude for China’s assistance and said that the supplies will greatly help Malaysia's anti-pandemic work.
