Chinese medical supplies arrive in Belarus to help fight COVID-19

The first batch of Chinese humanitarian medical supplies arrived in Minsk, capital of Belarus. on April 1.

Representatives from China and Belarus attended the handover ceremony at the Minsk International Airport.

The medical supplies include more than 2,000 test kits, medical protective gowns, infrared thermometers, googles, disposable gloves and shoe covers.

Belarusian Deputy Health Minister Boris Androsyuk said that China’s donation of supplies is an act of humanitarian assistance and Belarus is grateful to China for sending anti-pandemic supplies at its most needed time. It demonstrates the profound friendship between the peoples of the two countries. 

The received medical supplies will be made the most of by distribution to relevant medical institutions. Belarus is willing to strengthen further cooperation and coordination with China and jointly combat the COVID-19, said Androsyuk.
