Humanitarian medical supplies from the Chinese government arrived in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on April 2, to help fight COVID-19.
The supplies included infrared thermometers, testing kits, medical glasses, protective gowns and other equipment.
The medical assistance is based on the agreement to jointly combat against COVID-19 reached by the two countries’ heads of states in a telephone conversation.

Representatives of the Chinese embassy to Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and medical institutions helped with the handover of the medical donations.
As of April 2, Kazakhstan had reported 402 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 26 had been cured and 3 deaths.
