Chinese medical supplies reach Kyrgyzstan

The Chinese embassy in Kyrgyzstan transferred a shipment of anti-pandemic supplies to Kyrgyzstan on April 8.

Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen and Kyrgyz Vice Prime Minister Aida Ismailova attended the ceremony.

Du said that China and Kyrgyzstan have always helped and supported each other during the fight against the pandemic. The virus recognizes no borders. All countries should support each other and work in solidarity. The peoples of China and Kyrgyzstan will firmly stand together to overcome this difficulty.

Ismailova spoke highly of China’s positive achievement in fighting the pandemic and thanked it for providing anti-pandemic assistance to Kyrgyzstan. The supplies offered by China will be distributed to medical institutions in the country and will play an important role in pandemic prevention and control. The Kyrgyz side stands ready to work with China and to continue to enhance the two side’s friendship.

The medical supplies included testing reagents, forehead thermometers, protective suits, googles, medical gloves and shoe covers.
