China handed over a shipment of medical supplies to Tunisia on April 16. Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia Wang Wenbin and Tunisian Defense Minister Imed Hazgui exchanged the handover certificates.
The medical supplies, including N95 masks, nucleic acid testing kits and medical goggles, arrived in Tunisia on April 15. Wang, and Zhang Fengling, economic and commercial counselor at Chinese Embassy and the general directorate of Military Health of Tunisia received the medical supplies at the airport.
Wang said that China actively implements the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind and is willing to contribute to the joint fight against the COVID-19 pandemic with the international community.
Hazgui appreciated China’s timely and strong support to Tunisia in its fight against COVID-19, saying that China has set an example for international community of combating the virus through joint cooperation.
Tunisia hopes to learn from China’s experience and work with China to defeat the pandemic at an early date, added Hazgui.
