Another shipment of Chinese medical supplies arrives in Sri Lanka to help fight COVID-19

Another shipment of Chinese medical supplies transported by China Eastern Airlines arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport, Sri Lanka, on April 17.

The supplies included over 20,000 nucleic acid test kits, 110,000 N95 masks and surgical masks, 50,000 pairs of medical gloves, 10,000 protective gowns and 1,000 goggles, which will provide strong support to Sri Lanka’s anti-pandemic fight.

China Eastern Airlines previously transported a batch of anti-pandemic supplies donated by the Sri Lanka Overseas Chinese Association for free, which were highly valued by the government of Sri Lanka. The supplies included 52 boxes of protective clothing and some medical masks.
