China donates testing reagents to Tajikistan

A batch of testing reagents for COVID-19 donated by the Chinese government was handed over to Tajikistan at Kalasu, a land port between China and Tajikistan.

The Chinese government sent the first batch of medical supplies to Tajikistan on March 30. After the government of Tajikistan reported its first confirmed case of COVID-19, the Chinese government sent another batch of medical supplies to Tajikistan including testing reagents, medical protective gowns and masks.

More medical supplies will be shipped to Tajikistan very soon.

Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan Liu Bin said that during the battle against the virus China and Tajikistan have worked in solidarity and supported each other tiding over the difficulties. It demonstrates the deep friendship between the two countries and the two peoples.

China pays close attention to the pandemic situation in Tajikistan, and will continue to share its experience with and provide as much assistance as possible to Tajikistan. China believes the government and people of Tajikistan will defeat the virus at an early date, added Liu.
