The medical team arrived on a chartered flight arranged by the government of Equatorial Guinea after successfully completing their mission in Zimbabwe.
Chinese Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea Qi Mei, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Bonifacio Mitogo Bindang and Vice Minister for Health and Social Welfare Mitoha Ondo'o Ayekaba of Equatorial Guinea welcomed the Chinese experts at the airport.
The 12-member team, organized by the National Health Commission of China and selected by the Hunan Provincial Health Commission, includes experts in respiratory disorders, infectious diseases, critical care, traditional medicine, infectious disease control, public health, laboratory testing and nursing.
