Wang said that China appreciated UNICEF for offering valuable support and help at the country’s critical moment in fighting COVID-19.
Wang outlined China’s anti-virus assistance to other countries and stressed that China will actively implement the measures it has announced on supporting international cooperation in the fight against the pandemic, enhance cooperation with international organizations including UNICEF, support developing countries in containing the virus and jointly build a community of health for mankind.
Fore said that China has actively carried out international cooperation in fighting the pandemic and provided anti-pandemic support to countries in need in various forms and that UNICEF highly commended and appreciated China’s actions.
UNICEF has conducted fruitful cooperation with China for a long time and hopes to further strengthen exchanges and expand cooperation with the CIDCA, jointly help other developing countries stem the virus and protect the health of women and children, Fore added.
