Zhang Maoyu, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), signed an agreement with a representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) on Nov 24 to carry out assistance projects that aim to help improve the Asia-Pacific region's capability in fighting COVID-19 by drawing on China’s experiences.
According to the agreement, the assistance projects, under the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund, will help the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, Nepal and Laos cope with COVID-19, share China’s anti-pandemic experiences, and promote the integration of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
