China, World Food Program sign deals to provide food aid to 4 African countries

Zhang Maoyu, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, signed four agreements with a representative of the United Nations World Food Program on providing food aid to Guinea-Bissau, Cameroon, Sierra Leone and Uganda.

Under the framework of the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund, the project aims to help the four African countries alleviate food shortages caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
