CIDCA vice-chairman meets with newly appointed Belarusian Ambassador to China

Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Yuri Senko, newly appointed Belarusian Ambassador to China, on March 18.

Senko spoke highly of China's major strategic achievements in the COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control. He thanked China for providing anti-pandemic supplies and vaccine aid to Belarus and its support for the orderly construction of major projects, as well as China's long-term selfless help in Belarusian economic and social development.

Belarus is willing to further strengthen communication and coordination with the CIDCA and work together to promote the two countries' development and cooperation to make new achievements, Senko said.

Deng congratulated Senko on assuming office in China, saying that since the outbreak of COVID-19, China and Belarus have worked together to help and support each other with concrete actions.

China is willing to work with Belarus to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state and further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fight against pandemic, co-construction of the Belt and Road and in the fields of social livelihood and human resources development, making contribution to continuous deepening of the China-Belarus comprehensive strategic partnership, said Deng. 

The two sides also fully exchanged views on specific cooperation projects.
