Deng Boqing, vice-chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), met with Tarik Bukvic, ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to China, on April 22.
Deng said that China-BiH relations have maintained steady growth.
Under the framework of the Belt and Road co-building and the cooperation mechanism between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs), the two countries' cooperation has yielded rich results in the fields of economy, trade, energy and transportation infrastructure, said Deng.
At present, the global pandemic situation is still critical and China will continue to share its experience for and contribute its strengthen to the global anti-pandemic cooperation, said Deng.
The CIDCA is willing to strengthen communication with BiH, effectively advance the cooperation in anti-pandemic efforts and vaccines, and actively promote China-BiH development cooperation in livelihood areas such as education and cultural and people-to-people exchanges so as to contribute to the realization of a higher level of common development and mutual benefit for both countries.
Bukvic said that BiH highly values its relations with China and appreciates China's outstanding contributions in international anti-pandemic cooperation. He thanked China for its support and assistance in BiH's anti-pandemic efforts and recovery of economic and social development. He said he hopes that BiH will carry out more pragmatic cooperation with China and looks forward to a better development of their bilateral relations.
The two sides exchanged in-depth views on specific issues related to development cooperation.
