CIDCA chairman meets with Mongolian ambassador to China

Luo Zhaohui, chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA)，met with Tuvshin Badral, Mongolian ambassador to China, on May 25.

Luo said that Mongolia is an important neighbor of China and China attaches great importance to China-Mongolia relations.

China and Mongolia have worked hand in hand to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic since 2020, which is a story of friendly neighboring countries helping each other, said Luo.

China is willing to work together with Mongolia to implement the consensus reached by the two countries' heads of state, to continue strengthen their cooperation in the fields of anti-pandemic work, public health and people's livelihoods, and to promote the connection between the Belt and Road Initiative and Mongolia's Steppe Road program, as well as the continuous development of the China-Mongolia comprehensive strategic partnership, said Luo.

Badral spoke highly of the great achievements China has made under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, which was founded a hundred years ago. He thanked China for its strong support and help to the Mongolia's anti-pandemic efforts and economic and social development.

He said his country is willing to continue work closely with China to advance their development cooperation and bilateral relations.

The two sides also exchanged in-depth views on specific issues in development cooperation.
