The WFP's Director of  Public Partnerships and Resourcing, Karin Manente, thanked the Chinese government for using the SSCAF to implement food aid projects in cooperation with the WFP, saying that the WFP attaches great importance to its partnership with China and looks forward to further deepening cooperation and making new contributions to addressing global food security issues.

The WFP offices in Ethiopia and Guinea introduced the progress of the countries' food aid projects respectively, and shared videos of the on-site distribution and handover ceremony.

Zhang said that the WFP is the world's largest humanitarian aid agency, and the cooperation between the CIDCA and the WFP has been incredibly effective.

He said that he hopes that both sides will work together to do a good job in monitoring and managing the SSCAF project's initiation and implementation, and will continuously enhance the comprehensive effects of the SSCAF.
